We work at the marina.

We come to the boat at Murrells Inlet, Grande Dunes Marina, Little River and along the Intracoastal Waterway. Most jobs are templated at the slip and fitted back on the boat, then sewn on Main St in between, so you are not trailering a hull or losing a season to it.

How a dockside job runs

How marine upholstery works in Myrtle Beach.

From the slip and back, most jobs template and fit on the boat without a haul-out.

Step 01

Send photos, or meet at the boat

Photos of the seating and the marina, or we meet you at the slip. An honest read comes back on rebuild versus repair.

Step 02

Templated dockside

We template the salon, helm or cushions on the boat, pick the vinyl and Sunbrella, and agree cost and timeline before anything comes off.

Step 03

Sewn on Main St

The work is cut and sewn at the workroom in Grade-A marine materials, then checked against the template.

Step 04

Fitted back on the boat

We fit it back at the slip and check it in place, so the boat stays where it is.

Boat-owner questions

Asked at the dock.

If yours is not here, call the workroom or put it in the estimate form.

Do you come to the boat?

Yes. Templating and fitting happen at the slip, and the sewing is done at the Main St workroom. No trailering or hauling out.

Which Grand Strand marinas do you cover?

Grande Dunes Marina, Murrells Inlet, Marlin Quay, Little River and Osprey Marina, plus Georgetown and the Waterway. If your marina is not listed, ask.

What material do you use on marine seating?

Grade-A marine vinyl over quick-dry foam for seating, and Sunbrella for canvas and covers, both built for sun, salt and damp.

Can you repair torn vinyl instead of replacing everything?

Often, yes. Cracked seams and worn panels can be patched or swapped without redoing the whole set.

How long does a marine job take?

Most jobs run 1 to 2 weeks once material lands, longer in busy season. We template first so the boat is only out of use for the fitting.
