The atelier, the standard

Twenty-two years. Three ateliers. One standard.

We started in Hilton Head in 2004 with two upholsterers and one truck. Today we run three ateliers across coastal South Carolina, and the same pair of hands still checks every piece before it leaves us.

Frame, foam, sewing, and finish work stay under one roof so nothing gets lost in a chain of vendors. That is how a one to two week turnaround is possible on furniture that used to take a month.

Frequently asked

Answers before you ask.

Quick answers on quotes, turnaround, fabric policy, service areas, antiques, and the trade program. Not seeing yours? Call 843 785 4002 or request a quote — we reply the same day.

Do you offer free quotes on reupholstery?

Yes. Send us a photo, a fabric idea, or a spec sheet — we come back with a quote, a timeline, and honest advice on whether the piece is worth saving. Trade quotes go out in 48 hours.

What's your typical turnaround time?

One to two weeks for most single-piece reupholstery. Hospitality refurbs and large orders run on their own schedule, agreed up front. Frame, foam, sewing, and finish work all stay in-house — that is what makes the fast turnaround possible.

Can I bring my own fabric (COM)?

Yes. Customer's own material is welcome across every service. We'll match it, cut it, and treat it like our own. If you need help sourcing, we work with the major trade fabric houses.

Which areas do you serve?

We run three ateliers on the South Carolina coast — Hilton Head Island, North Charleston, and Myrtle Beach. Pickup and delivery cover South Carolina, coastal Georgia, and North Carolina. Larger hospitality installs travel further; ask us.

Do you handle antique or heirloom pieces?

Regularly. We rebuild period frames, replace worn eight-way hand-tied springs, and match traditional finishes. Every restoration is checked before it leaves us.

Do you work with interior designers on the trade side?

Yes. Designers get one dedicated contact, a 48-hour quote turnaround, and a workroom that reads your spec sheet the first time. Open a trade account to get started.
